Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is looking for you to join our team as a Staff Systems Engineer Lead based out of Colorado Springs, CO.

What Youll get to Do:

* Candidate will be a S8.2 System Engineering Lead for enterprise virtualization, VM Ware and Windows Servers responsible for planning, deploying, integrating, and testing the S8.2 C2BMC enterprise server system, applications and NAS systems.

* Some travel may be required depending on the work to be performed.

Qualification

Basic Qualifications:

* An active Secret clearance is required.

* 14 Years with Bachelors degree in a STEM-related field; 12 years experience with a Masters degree.
* Must possess a DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA)
* Systems engineer with hands-on senior-level experience and knowledge of system design, development, and testing methodologies; subject matter expert with VMware (Virtual Machine), ESX servers, NetApp NAS/SAN, and Windows server.

* Experience with Software-Defined Networks (SDN).

* Experience with system design, implementation, performance analysis, and testing.

* Experience leading a team across multiple engineering disciplines to implement enterprise-wide solutions.

* Experience providing input to design of systems architectures, configure and maintain system diagrams and accreditations, and support certification and accreditation activities.

* Hand-on experience with Agile build/process tools (e.g., Jira, Version One, Git, Ansible, Jenkins, Nexus, Robot Framework).

* Experience with Network automation (e.g., DevOps, DevSecOps), requirements elicitation, interface development, and design artifacts generation.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Candidates with prior C2BMC network experience are highly desired.

* Candidates with knowledge, skill sets or experience using protocol analyzers/sniffers (such as Wireshark.)

* While not required candidates with experience in the following areas are desired: Authentication amp; encryption methods/capabilities.
