Northrop Grumman Strategic Space Systems Division (SSSD) is seeking a Staff Budget Analyst (Level 5) to join our team in Redondo Beach, CA. This position will report to the SSSD Business Management Operations amp; Facilities Manager.
The selected candidate will work closely with the Business Management Operations amp; Facilities Manager to meet the goals and objectives of the organization. Execution of work scope will require interfacing with multiple functions (i.e. ESH amp;M, Space Utilization, Real Estate and Utilities), and all levels of staff, including Managers, Directors, and VP. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, maintain high work product standards and handle diverse assignments. The position will demand strong organizational, analytical, interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
This role requires an understanding and working knowledge of facility service agreements, capital projects, financial forecasting, and proper color of money treatment for expenditures under both U.S. GAAP and Cost Accounting Standards.
Responsibilities include, but, are not limited to:
* Serve as department Lead/SME for Facilities amp; Operations Business Management
* Develop and implement innovative cost/process/affordability improvements to ensure organizational execution
* Provide fiscal data planning, forecasting, tracking and analysis for monthly reporting requirements and reviews
* Coordinate accurate forecasting of staffing requirements to enable the organization to execute on projects
* Execute administration of Capital, NRAB and FSAs (Facilities Service Agreements).
* Interface with internal supporting functions and outside third-party vendors to resolve issues with Invoices, Payments, etc.
* Compile and review expenses to provide proper financial administration.
* Provide compliance policy guidance and help interpret policies for non-routine activities/time charging
* Support Operations amp; Facilities business initiatives and ad hoc tasks/exercises
Qualification
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor 39;s Degree
* 14 years of experience in Business, Finance, or Accounting to include Indirect Budgeting, Accounting, and Cost Accounting Standards OR; a Master 39;s Degree and 12 years of stated experience
* Proficient in Microsoft Office to include PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with SAP
* Experience with Capital, accounting, and cost accounting standards
