Northrop Grumman is seeking a motivated professional to join our team as a System Administrator. This position is in support of an Air Force (AF) organization located on Kirtland AFB, New Mexico.
This job requires critical thinking and project planning with general supervision to maintain and develop new concepts for at least four (4) different network systems for compliance with DoD Information Assurance (IA) standards of multi-user computer systems and servers using physical and virtual computer system environments.
This position requires current knowledge of Windows operating systems and an understanding of networking and Windows network technologies. Responsibilities will also include troubleshooting and customer service.
Duties will Include:
* Providing technical support for computers, servers, and associated networks.
* Planning, installing, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing computer, server, and associated network equipment.
* Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting specialized hardware and software.
* Installing, configuring, and maintaining a network management/information protection suite of hardware and software.
* Documenting hardware and software architecture solutions.
* Assisting with configuration management requirements.
Qualification
Basic Qualifications:
* Must possess a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years related experience. May consider an additional 5 years' experience in lieu of degree requirement.
* Must be able to obtain COMPTIA Security+ CE and MCSA Certification for Server 2016 or higher within 6 months of start date
* Must be willing and able to travel when required to support the mission
* Must have knowledge and experience with the following:
* Troubleshooting Client and Server Systems
* Windows 10 or higher
* Windows 2012 Server or higher
* Cisco Network Devices
* VMWare
* Must have a demonstrated ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders in various formats
* Must have an active DoD TS /SCI clearance. US citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications:
* Active COMPTIA Security+ CE and/or MCSA certification for Windows 10 or Server 2016 or higher
* Advanced knowledge and experience with the following:
* Troubleshooting Client/Server Systems
* Windows 10/Windows 2016 or later
* Active Directory / DNS / DHCP / Group Policy
* Backup and Recovery
* Configuration Management.
* Knowledge and experience with the following:
