NIKE, Inc., Beaverton, OR. Will provide strategic and tactical leadership in the management of compliance operations programs, including Special Trade Programs in Beaverton, OR. Will drive the ongoing development of best in class programs, analytics, processes, and internal controls in partnership with geography teams. Will support facilitation of compliant, reliable, efficient, and expedient cross-border movement of goods, leveraging innovation to provide value. Will manage operations and strategy for global compliance programs, including Free Trade Agreement and Special Trade Programs platforms, global compliance framework, and others. Will use best practices and knowledge of internal and external business issues to improve customs process and compliance. Will provide geography support on customs audits and inquiries. Will define future state processes and business requirements to support global initiatives, including global import and export programs. Will develop analytics capability to drive deeper insights into global customs business, including duty spend and savings, global compliance activities (such as audits and inquiries) and operational performance metrics. Will review government requirements and geography and territory needs. Will assess customs operational and compliance risks. Will engage in data analytics and provide performance reporting. Will engage in twenty percent or less domestic and international travel.
Education: Bachelors degree in business, supply chain management, logistics, or international trade. Experience: five years of overall progressive experience in customs and trade. Skills/Requirements: 5 years of experience: (1) supply chain; (2) customs and international trade industry within Asia Pacific and Latin America; (3) developing policies and procedures to explain requirements for audiences located in Asia Pacific and Latin America; (4) developing tools that easily support global classification of products and global compliance; (5) collaborating cross-functionally to mine data, interpret data, and review results to assist businesses in setting strategy and making business decisions; and (6) reporting tools, including Tableau, Cognos, and Appian
