The Partnership Transformation team owns the holistic partner transformation agenda across three primary workstreams: partnership evolution, distinct experience development, and omnichannel acceleration. This team within Partnership Transformation Partnership Development - will be responsible for defining how we build our evolved Partner portfolio, and developing comprehensive proposals for our Partners, through a detailed understanding of marketplace strategy, connected capabilities, a robust Partner assessment approach, and viable business model shifts for mutual (Nike + Partner) profitability. Nikes Partnership Development team is looking for a Manager, Partner Portfolio Transformation. This is a fast-paced and high-visibility position where you will drive strong collaboration across multiple teams at Nike. This person is a self-motivated, strategic problem-solver who is eager to be part of a team owning the work to craft Nike, Inc.s partner portfolio of the future. This role sits at the nexus of key corporate strategies and will play a meaningful role in operationalizing these strategies with both external and internal partners. The ideal candidate is passionate about evolving the Nike Marketplace to meet consumer demands, excited about bridging strategy and operationalization, and motivated by the opportunity to bring our marketplace strategies to life!
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
In this role you will be responsible for developing the complete partner transformation agenda for Nikes Multibrand Partners, including Connected Partners. Youll partner across the Partnership Development, Connected Marketplace, Marketplace Strategy, and Geo MPU teams to do so. As a part of this, you will own the Partner assessment methodology. Additionally, you will develop executive-level communications to socialize the Partner assessments, transformation plans, and associated impacts to the marketplace and our strategies.
Your day-to-day will be variable, evolving to prepare for partner-facing conversations, strategic alignment moments, or key socialization points.
You will explore complex business issues, develop business storytelling, conduct consumer, driven, and market analyses; partner with finance to develop models, and form action plans to operationalize our One Nike Marketplace strategy specifically related to our Partner Portfolio transformation.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
In this role, you will be reporting to the Senior Director, Partnership Development. You will regularly work with Connected Marketplace teams to incorporate connected capabilities into the Partner transformation agenda, coordinate with Commercial Finance on modeling impacts to Nike and Partners, and collaborate with Marketplace Strategy teams, MPU teams, and Partnership Transformation to align plans and strategies and prepare for executive-level and account-facing communication moments.
WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE
* Bachelors degree and a minimum of 4 years work experience in Sales, Finance, or Strategic Planning.
* Extensive experience handling sophisticated projects with a wide range of partners
* Problem structuring and strategic problem-solving skills
* The ability to tell sophisticated business- and strategy-related stories in a clear and visual manner
* Strong influencing skills and ability to champion ground-breaking projects cross-functionally
* Knowledge of Nikes Marketplace and Partner landscape
* Knowledge of consumer and retail industry trends
