This is an exciting opportunity with high visibility in the Software Finance department. The mission of the Software finance department is to deliver value to the Software operations by providing financial support through timely, data-driven analysis, effective resource planning and management of business performance to help our business partners execute on their strategic and operational imperatives which contributes to a strong financial performance. As Motorola Solutions accelerates innovation through software, the finance organization has a unique opportunity to support the new Software Enterprise business unit.
Job Description
* In this role, you will be working directly with the general accounting and finance functions of the CAD & Records sleeve of Motorola Solutions' Software Enterprise business, expected to be one of the company's innovation drivers.
* Duties will include working with transactions related to customer maintenance contract calculations, tracking and forecasting, vendor invoice approval, revenue recognition, accounts receivable and cash forecasting.
* May also assist with GL reconciliations, collections, financial reporting, general ledger transactions, and other areas as needed, to make sure they are conducted in accordance with accurate and accepted accounting practices.

Additional Knowledge/Skills:
* 1+ years of experience working in a Finance and Accounting/FP&A role preferred
* Strong understanding of US GAAP.
* Strong analytical skills, organization, and curiosity to develop new methods and processes.
* Exercises strong attention to detail, flexible, and comfortable working under time constraints and with multiple operating constituents.
* Experience with a software company a plus.
* Strong system skills including MS Office, Oracle, and Smartview are a plus.
Basic Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting required
