Job Summary
Care Connections, a division of Molina Healthcare, seeks Outreach Agents to join its growing team which will contribute to the company mission to bring quality health care to the underserved. The Care Connections Representative primary focus is to conduct outbound calls to Molina members and schedule appointments with our Nurse Practitioners across 14 states. As part of Molina's benefit package, the appointments are for preventive care services delivered in the home, community and nursing facility settings. This is a special opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable people.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
Understanding and striving to meet or exceed call center metrics while providing excellent consistent customer service
Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
Show flexibility in meeting changing performance objectives consistent with Molina and department objectives
Attention to detail
Problem solving skills
Perform timely documentation in electronic medical record
Maintain confidentiality and comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
Empathy/passion for working with senior, disabled, low income populations
Demonstrate positive working relationships with peers and effectively manage conflict
Demonstrates personal responsibility and accountability by meeting attendance and schedule adherence expectations
Ability to abide by Molina's policies and procedures
Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred)
Job Qualifications
Required Education
High School Diploma or GED
Required Experience
Excellent customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills, professional phone voice.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) or other comparable software
Preferred Education
Associate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Experience
Customer Service/Call Center experience in Healthcare or equivalent related
Experience doing outbound appointment setting or similar services
