The Offerings Design & Management team (OD&M) owns commercial offerings that provide expert guidance and problem resolution to help customers get the most business value from all Microsoft technologies. The Proactive Services team in OD&M is responsible for designing end to end proactive support offerings for all commercial segments.
Proactive Services are scenario-specific, expert-led engagements that help Microsoft enterprise customers maintain solution health, remove technical and operational blockers to drive cloud consumption and adoption.
Sr Business Program Manager - Business Applications and Cross Solutions
As a Business Program Manager for Proactive Services, you will lead and manage business planning, value proposition, customer experience, offerings roadmap and strategic programs that drive cloud consumption for Business Applications and Cross Solutions (Power Platform and Security) solution areas. Key partnerships include Customer Success, IP Dev, CTO, Operations, Engineering, Finance, Sales and GTM teams to enable and sell these offerings around the world.
* Use market research and insights from our Chief Technology Officer, Engineering Groups, and Customer Success teams, as well as field and customer feedback to develop a deep understanding of our enterprise customer needs.
* Drive proactive services offering strategy and roadmap for Business Applications, Power Platform and Security with a relentless focus on customer success and cloud consumption. Create impactful customer journeys from base support to deep relationship offerings that contribute to the strategic use and increased cloud consumption. Partner with our GTM and Sales teams on offering messaging, campaigns and sales landing and readiness.
* Collaborate with our IP Design & Governance, CTO, Delivery Design and Customer Success teams to enable the designed customer experiences with scalable IP, capabilities, best practices, and global capacity.
* 5+ years of experience and a proven track record of success in product management, program management and/or business planning, with a focus on customer experience and business impact.
* A proficient understanding of Microsoft Business Applications, Power Platform and Security products and services and ability to have intermediate (200 level) conversations with technical audience.
* Understanding of Microsoft Business Applications, Power Platform and Security solutions, specifically AX to Dynamics migration and/or knowledge of competitive landscape, such as Salesforce, Octa and AirWatch products and services.
* Customer centricity, growth mindset and passion for diversity and inclusion is a must.
* Ability and judgement to think strategically, prioritize, innovate, and solve unstructured business problems.
* Ability and maturity to develop cross-group relationships and drive alignment and problem resolution through effective collaboration.
* Ability to develop value proposition and easy to understand narratives.
* Executive presence and ability to present ideas and solutions that address complex business problems.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Unified, Premier Support, Microsoft Consumption Process, Customer Success organization and technical certifications for Microsoft Dynamics would be a plus.
Location/Travel: You may be based anywhere in the U.S., with a preference for the Pacific Northwest. You can expect limited global travel, less than 15%, contingent upon Covid-19 restrictions.
