The Azure Redis Cache team provides customers with secure, dedicated Redis cache endpoints, exposed as a service, managed by Microsoft Azure. The service has seen very rapid growth since its inception. As a part of the team, you will be working on exciting technologies, both proprietary and open source.
The problems we are trying to solve are both interesting and challenging: building a reliable, highly available and performant in-memory data store that is simple, cheap to operate and easy to use with rich server-side APIs and capabilities and robust, developer-friendly client experiences.
We are a relatively small team that manages a very large number of resources in Azure, so come ready to work at cloud scale while still maintaining a small-team environment.
You will work with other engineers in the team to bring the latest open source Redis cache on Azure, integrating it with various Azure management capabilities. You will work with multiple partner teams, deploy on a large scale all around the world and help customers achieve a very low-latency cache for their apps and services.
The software you build will help run some of the most important services running in Azure. You will be part of a talented team where learning from peers and growing as a team is a core theme.
