The Process Chemistry organization located at our Rahway, New Jersey site is seeking highly motivated and exceptional chemists who are looking for an opportunity to work in a fast-paced job that provides a high degree of technical responsibility. A successful candidate will be joining a group of innovative scientists with broad deliverables ranging from the design of manufacturing routes for drug candidates to driving innovative solutions to complex chemistry problems in the discovery phase to building on our state-of-the-art catalysis capabilities.

A PhD. in chemistry with experience in methodology/catalysis (including chemo-catalysis, bio-catalysis and heterogeneous catalysis), total synthesis, physical organic chemistry, or flow chemistry is needed, along with a proven track record of solving complex problems. A high level of innovation, creativity, and self-initiative are expected for the role. Candidates should exhibit strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

* PhD in Chemistry.

Required Experience and Skills:

* PhD in Chemistry.

* Must have conducted outstanding research in their field of expertise that may be shared during the interview process.

* Collaborate well with multidisciplinary teams and possess outstanding communication skills.

* Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

* High-level leadership and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

* Additional experience within an academic laboratory (post-doctoral fellowship) or the pharmaceutical/biotech industry is a plus.

* A supportive track record of peer-reviewed publications and research presentations is a plus.

* Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams to achieve business goals
