Lockheed Martin is seeking a Duplicating, Printing, Scanning Specialist for a position in Grand Prairie, TX that is a quality-focused, detail-oriented individual that will enjoy both repetitive tasks and have the willingness to perform other various projects as assigned. This position will use new digital printing techniques and will operate wide format and hi-speed print production printers. This position will perform color balancing and profiling across multiple types of servers/printers. Job utilizes specialized software and equipment to setup, print, and/or scan customer jobs. Job responsibilities also include frequent customer interaction, post job bindery and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. This job will include additional duties as required.
Responsible for:
Operating wide-format and hi-speed print production printers using digital printing techniques.
Working color consistency between our wide-format and hi-speed printers.
Interfacing with customers to determine requirements and priorities.
Cross-training on other Publishing Center tasks and equipment as required.

Basic Qualifications:
Must be able to obtain a security clearance
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (emphasis on PowerPoint, Word and Excel) and Adobe Acrobat
Valid Class C Drivers License
Experience with hi-speed and/or wide-format digital print operations using specialized vendor supplied software tools
Working knowledge of wide-format and hi-speed color profiling
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of advanced digital printing techniques
Prepress knowledge for set up of digital environment
Experience in the functions of a print production facility regarding the process of a production team workflow
Experience in a digital print production environment
Experience with wide-format and hi-speed print operations
Experience using Canon, Mimaki and/or Oce equipment and software
Able to multitask
