Job Summary:
Responsible for developing and implementing an ongoing program of activities that promote the social, emotional, cognitive and physical development of each child enrolled in a group.

High school diploma - Required
Associates degree - Required
Other: An A.A.S. degree in any major with 12 semester hours in early childhood education or child development plus The North Carolina Early Childhood Credential (or its equivalent) BSAC if working directly with school aged children.
Required Skills: 2 years verifiable work experience in a licensed childcare facility.
Required License/Certifications: NCECC, CPR, Pediatric First Aid, CRC Letter Qualifying to work in childcare, ITS SIDS (if working directly with children 12 months and younger, within 2 months of hire for all other staff). BSAC certification required if working directly with School Age children
