The Quality Resource Center is looking for an individual to lead several key Global Supply Chain Division functions within the Quality Department. This individual will be responsible for supporting the Ship-to Hold audit process primarily for PCG & CBG business units and leading division quality tools and processes. The individual in this position will contribute to the Stage Gate Audit process by supporting audit coordinators with initiation, ensuring lab work completion according to set standards, evaluating test results, and reporting findings. Individual will interface with Product Development Labs and Manufacturing to prioritize activities towards proactively identifying non-conformances, developing root cause using Six Sigma tools, and implementing sustainable improvements to both formulations and processes. Will lead analysis and reporting of quality metrics and provide detailed analysis to execute management. This individual will ensure all incidents have an assignable root cause and sustainable improvement prior to closure.
Responsibilities Include:
* Primary audit technical lead responsible for the Ship-to Hold Audit (S2H) Program supporting GSC, TAG, CBG, & PCG divisions.
* Contribute to the Stage Gate Audit process by supporting product development labs with timely execution of audit initiations, evaluation of test results for quality, and reporting findings. May complete lab work including performing test methods according to set standards as needed.
* Daily activities will require utilization of basic computer skills and systems including but not limited to Microsoft Access and Business objects (e.g. ordering, reviewing , and releasing of finished good products in QIL & QA Warehouses).
* Ensuring effective communication and collaboration with product development labs and manufacturing to prioritize activities towards proactively identifying non-conformances.
* Leading quality investigations for non-conforming finished goods tested through audit, ensuring an assignable root cause, and implementing sustainable improvements prior to closure.
* Provide proper resolution of QA Hold non-conforming batches in a timely manner.
* Leads and attends project related meetings, team meetings, and weekly audit meetings.
* Publish audit metrics from data generated from testing of manufactured finished goods.
* Accountable for continual improvement of the audit quality standard QS-107 through analysis of current practices and data generated over time.
* May lead analysis of division quality tools, metrics, and stop sale processes and provide detailed analysis to execute management.
* Contribute to the assessment, quality, maintenance and enhancement of products through analysis of data with clear and accurate results.
* Lead manufacturing distribution servicing center audits and report findings.
* Support OP-16 group projects and/or cost savings.
* May use Six Sigma tools to define and improve processes.
* Promote a clean and safe work environment.
* Provide timely and accurate solutions to multiple non-conformances or projects of moderate to difficult complexity as an individual contributor or team member or team leader.
* Ensures clear, complete, and accurate documentation of findings.
* May mentor no more than three new hires/lower level employees
* May lead one highly technically challenging project or small portions of a technically challenging large projects.
* This position requires development toward expert status in at least one broad area or a related specialized area.
Basic Qualifications:
* Must be at least 18 years of age
* Must have the legal right to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status
* Must have a BS/BA degree in Chemistry/Engineering or a BS/BA degree in Science (non-chemistry) with 2 semesters of of General Chemistry and 2 semesters of Organic Chemistry
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous formulation experience is preferred
* Knowledge of data analysis is preferred
* Experience with Accelerated Root Cause analysis is preferred
* Green Belt certification is preferred
