Job Description:
Electro-mechanical design and packaging of micro-electronic assemblies as well as larger subassemblies and LRUs for military airborne and space applications. Printed wiring board (PWB) designs of RF and high-speed digital circuits using Cadence or equivalent CAD program for Class 3 military applications. Knowledge of PRO-E/CREO and Microsoft Office. Preparation of drawings in accordance with ASME Y14.100. Willingness to learn and contribute in a dynamic team environment. 10+ years' experience with relevant technical Associates degree or drafting school certificate.
Essential Functions:
* The successful candidate will generate multi-layer RF, digital, and mixed technology PWB designs meeting IPC-6011 requirements with documentation in accordance with ASME Y14.100. Design and document RF substrates designed with soft and hard dielectric materials. Generate higher assembly drawings and BOMs using CREO/PRO-E and Agile software.
* Design and document complex electro-mechanical hybrid and conventional assemblies for military airborne, ground, and space applications as part of a multi-disciplined engineering team using CREO/Pro-E and Agile. Prepare drawings using GD&T; in accordance with ASME Y14.100
* Participate in Supply Chain and production MRB and ECN activities. Support Manufacturability issues.
Qualifications:
* Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
* Extensive Printed Wiring Board CAD Experience, Fabrication Process knowledge, production support experience
* Familiarity with Mil-Std-810, military and IPC standards for SMT PWB and hybrid technologies.
* Ability to obtain secret security clearance
* Experience with machine shop practices, composite construction, and fixture designs for assembly, manufacturing tooling and test
* The ability to work with collaborative cross functional teams for product development
