Overview

We are looking for a full time Rehab Tech to join our team in Muncie, IN!

It is important for this individual to be a team player, be comfortable cleaning, and have computer skills. Maintains and cleans treatment areas and equipment. Participates in operational aspects of the department and maintains performance improvement activities as required. Participates in all infection control, department equipment training, regulatory compliance, organizational safety and fire safety programs. Orders, distributes and maintains designated and appropriate inventory of department related supplies. May perform scheduling, customer service and some clerical duties. This position is around patients who are being treated, however there is very little patient care in this role.

This is a full time, day shift position. There are currently no weekend requirements. Could be asked to come in at 7am or work as late as 7pm depending on the clinic needs (this is not often, but is a possibility).

High School Diploma or GED is required.
Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA within 6 months of hire. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
Requires successful completion of the rehabilitation technician training program within 3 months of hire.
1-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Rehab experience preferred.
Requires familiarity with patient lifting and handling procedures.
