As an intern of Intel's Atom Pre-Silicon Verification team, you'll get hands-on exposure to the microprocessor verification process. You'll pick the brains of our experts and gain invaluable insight into what is involved in transforming micro-architecture and design ideas from concept to reality. You will have the opportunity to learn about and contribute to the definition of cutting edge CPU micro-architecture and design logic verification techniques. Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Requirements

Candidate must be pursuing a Masters degree or a PhD in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering

6+ months of experience with:

* Computer architecture
* Digital logic design
* Hardware modeling language, such as Verilog, VHDL, or System Verilog
* Industry standard logic simulation tools
* Industry standard verification environments in Verilog, Specman or OVM/UVM
* Programming or scripting with Perl/Shell/Python/TCL/Ruby
* Unix-based systems

Availability for a 6+ months internship

Preferred Qualifications

3+ months experiencer with:

* Intel/x86 or ARM assembly
* Software development
* CPU or other IP verification activities
