Job Description
You will be a Manufacturing Product Development Team (MPDT) / a tactical lab execution planning leader within the Manufacturing Product Engineering Organizations Client Business Unit. You will drive a team that is responsible for manufacturing readiness and production ramp of the products that are designed and manufactured in multiple locations around the world. The MPDT owns the post Si execution schedule and manages all the post Silicon sampling activities from power on to transition to HVM (High Volume Manufacturing). As a MPE, you will be a key stakeholder in the POP phase of product planning, owning the line item risk assessment process and ensure the quality and performance of the product at PRQ. You will be making key program decisions, coordinating functional team activities, and communicating program status to upper management
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* Plan/manage technical programs to meet specific business unit objectives and schedule
* Provide leadership for the project team and key interfaces to the project and program
* Identify tasks, determine dependencies and risks and monitors progress against schedule
* Communicate expectations to team members, obtains task effort and duration estimates from team members so you can create/track the product schedule
* Work with various Engineering , validation teams teams/Business Units to develop, maintain, and deliver specific Line Items for the product
* Plans/manages both programs and projects that are directly tied to the development, implementation or upgrade of technology or products for external customers
* Provides leadership for the project team and key interfaces to the project or program. Works on problems/tasks in delivery of a specific product or service
* Identify tasks, determine dependencies, identify and assign specific resources, communicate expectations to team members, obtain task effort and duration estimates from team members, and create/track the project schedule
* Assess risk and identify issues
* Monitor progress against schedule
* Coordinate resources with other functions
* Review user and technical requirements for completeness and clarity
* Requires thorough knowledge of business practices and procedures in order to perform non repetitive, analytical work
* Provide solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
* High sense of collaboration and partnership building
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidates must possess a Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business or other similar degree.
3+ months of experience in:
* Product development business practices and procedures
* Planning large projects and a track record of delivery
Preferred Qualifications:
* Exposure to supply chain management
* Experience leading in a technical matrix environment in multiple time zones
* Must be self-managed and independent
* The candidate must be a team player and be flexible and open to a variety of task assignments
