We are seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager to join the Distributed Software (DSW) Quote to Cash team. We are made up of small agile development teams that come together to deliver big changes that improve the software BUY experience. As the Agile Project Manager (APM), you will choreograph the work across those teams identifying key dependencies, mitigating risks, and removing roadblocks, all while keeping key stakeholders in the loop on progress and challenges.
Job Duties
* Lead. Manage all aspects of complex, enterprise projects that span business and technical teams and divisions, often 30-50 participants globally. Bring clarity to those projects, create open dialogue across the team, identify and remove blockers, encourage collaboration.
* Facilitate. Conduct project and agile ceremonies that include scrum-of-scrum status meetings, showcases, project read-outs, and retrospectives. Lead multi-day face-to-face and virtual solutioning or planning workshops.
* Organize: Leverage Jira as primary tool to assemble progress reports & dashboards; and manage project risks and issues. Develop project outlooks with clear interdependency maps, milestone outlooks and achievements.
* Coach. Promote team empowerment. Encourage sustainable pace. Hold teams accountable for commitments and provide feedback. Champion Agile best practices to continuously deliver business value.
* Balance: Blend traditional project management principles and practices with an Agile development approach to fit complex, enterprise-level projects that ensures the right harmony of agility and predictability.
* Learn: Become well versed in the IBM BUY business models and the systems and processes that support them.
* Communication: use your developed cross functional communications skills to interact with all business and IT stakeholders including executives.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
* Solid understanding of software development life cycle models
* Demonstrated ability to translate complex ideas and articulate trade-offs and challenges for teams and stakeholders
* A proven track record of successfully implementing software or web development projects using Agile methodologies, including 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager managing global complex projects in a high-tech development environment with multi-function teams.
* Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects. PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent preferred
* Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the big picture view
* Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands
* Proficiency in using general office and PM tools: Mural, Trello, Jira, Microsoft Project, Visio, and Office
