The Sourcing & Procurement Analyst is responsible for identifying sourcing opportunities through spend analysis to aid either category specific or supplier specific strategies.
* Maintaining Item Master Database by updating pricing, items and vendor information. Assisting in Strategic Sourcing processes such as request for information and request for proposal.
* Utilizing current sourcing methodology, and assist the Business Relation Management team and the Project Director Procurement with recommending final supplier selection.
* Conducting analysis (i.e. trend, forecasting) of spend data and supply market dynamics to identify and prioritize sourcing initiatives.
* Assisting with contract negotiations and/or resolution of contract or compliance issues. Creating contingency plans and continuously refine action steps to address shifting priorities or changing objectives.
* Formulating and making recommendations on specific actions and polices. Building relationships and partnering cross functionally with key brand business partners (Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal), suppliers, and Strategic Sourcing colleagues to influence change and meet strategic objectives.
* Understand supply markets and keep routinely informed of market conditions, technology evolution, and leading edge sourcing activities.
* Conducting end user testing after PeopleSoft updates have been installed
Requirements
* This position requires knowledge of negotiation, purchasing, and spend analysis
* Bachelor's degree in business management or accounting or related field of study
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a strategic procurement or analytics
* Intermediate level proficiency in Peoplesoft to create, edit and upload reports
* Intermediate level proficiency in MS Excel to create, edit and upload reports.
