General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Service Delivery Manager to support a Greenfield US Air Force program implementing an MLS solution across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervises a medium to large team of multiple disciplines - medium to high complexity
* Evaluates the functionality of systems to ensure that they operate reliably
* Manages secure network access for remote users
* Consults computer users to ascertain needs and to ensure that facilities meet user or project requirements
* Manages the development and administration of schedule and performance requirements; may have budget responsibilities
* Ensures the team adheres to Availability and SLA requirements and reports on performance
* Manages and prioritizes information systems needs and analyzes project costs and feasibility
* Manages vendor relationships and billing reconciliations
* Oversees ordering process to effectively and economically meet objectives
* Ensures software licensing laws are followed
* May manage the development of policies and procedures and ensure their conformance with the departments goals and company/customer objectives
* Implements and manages security or integrity and backup procedures
* Schedules upgrades
* Provides user training, support, advice, and feedback
* Keeps well-informed of new technologies and industry best practices and trends and then plans and advises for implementation
Qualifications:
* TS/SCI (DCID 6/4 eligible) with full scope poly clearance is required for this position.
* Employment will be contingent until candidate is deemed eligible for SAP access by the government customer.
* BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of related experience
* Ability to work with stakeholders to define requirements
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Travel 25%
