And our work depends on a TS/SCI level cleared Systems Engineer (Dev Optimization) joining our team to support our Intelligence customer in Springfield, VA.

Description:
* Review and provide technical advice on technical documentation submissions for systems development optimization
* Provide engineering and technical support and advisement regarding problem definition, analysis, requirement development, and implementation for complex systems in the engineering discipline required to meet technical requirements.
* Provide assessments and recommendations on system development, improvements, optimization, or support efforts.
* Perform risk assessments and analysis employing modeling and simulation techniques.
* Support the identification, tracking, and resolution of systems engineering issues related to technical interfaces, technology insertion/design improvements, and other program initiatives.
* Prepare technical presentations, briefings, and papers to address program management issues in such venues as technical design reviews, technical review boards, and others.
* Identify technical issues that need resolution.
* Work with applicable Government team leads to facilitate the resolution of technical issues.
* Identify risks and develop mitigation plans for identified cost, schedule, and technical issues.
* Provide weekly reports on significant issues and actions.
* Support transition of developmental efforts into production, and assist with the technical activities.
* Conduct assessments and make recommendations for design, testing, and documentation utilizing full knowledge of all phases of application, analysis, and programming and research analysis techniques.
* Provide engineering solutions in support of continued operational sustainment

Requirements:
* A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of professional experience,
* Active TS/SCI clearance and eligibility to obtain a CI Poly
* Effective oral and written communication skills. Team, goal, and customer focused. Proficient with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
