Facebook Reality Labs is seeking a Programming Operations Manager who will be responsible for the end-to-end operations supporting commerce and editorial campaigns for the Oculus Platform. In this role, youll manage content and campaigns for the companys virtual reality ecosystem that brings innovative and cutting-edge products to users across the globe. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams including content discovery, marketing, engineering, and product teams to launch content within the companys systems. The ideal candidate for this role has a strong technical background with extensive knowledge of operations, editorial campaigns, and engagement tactics.
Programming Operations Manager Responsibilities
* Assist with content planning and operations process, communication around pitches, deadlines, and new initiatives for a global market
* Publish promotions, emails, and notifications for the Oculus platform according to the strategy set by the Programming team
* Maintain and update records in our content database, project management tools, and resource wiki
* Analyze content performance and use insights to produce better content and stay ahead of market needs
* Manage operations under the Editorial calendar with content release dates and key programming moments
* Support constant iteration and improvement of our content presentation, packaging, and editorial discovery
* Organize and optimize workflows to increase accountability and speed
* Make data-driven decisions to improve Oculus experiences and troubleshoot known issues
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining close attention to detail and meeting tight, frequently changing deadlines
Minimum Qualifications
* 3+ years or equivalent professional experience in digital publishing, editorial, or content curation/operations
* Proven work experience managing a global content strategy with a campaign-based, insights-led approach
* Demonstrated experience to coordinate and facilitate communication in a fast-paced setting with multiple partners, requests, and shifting priorities

* Expert-level attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
* Enthusiasm for building tools and processes that connect ideas and people
* Self-organized and self-motivated, with effective communication skills
* Experience with games, VR, or engagement campaigns and a hunger to help define the future of VR
