Enterprise Products solves complex business problems at Facebook through a combination of building and buying best-in-class enterprise solutions. We help Facebook business teams achieve more effective and productive outcomes, at scale. Safety & Workspace Products supports a set of large and disparate businesses across Facebook to help keep our Facebook staff, partners, and visitors safe, productive, and delighted by our work environment. We are seeking a leader that will build and run a team of technical Application Managers to identify and solve challenging business and user needs with top vendor solutions and services across a variety of businesses. This will require close partnership with our product & engineering teams, our business partners, and other teams at Facebook. This leader must cultivate a problem-driven mindset, build meaningful relationships with our partners, and influence our external solution-providers and the industry.

Manager, Application Manager Responsibilities

* Lead a team of technical application managers that will identify, design, and execute best-in-class vendor solutions

* Establish a metrics-based organization, develop key operational metrics and push for continuous improvement

* Build domain expertise for areas such as smart campus, incident response, intrusion detection, transportation

* Work closely with business leaders and PMs to develop short and long-term strategies by understanding business and user needs

* Cultivate and manage complex internal and external relationships

* Ensure system security, data integrity, privacy, and legal of our systems

* Understand risks, issues, status, fix/mitigate problems to get the project back on track

* Execute effectively on 6-month and multi-year road maps

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

* 7+ years post-collegiate work experience building products or tools, or implementation of complex systems

* Experience working with vendors and partners to influence outcomes

* 3+ years experience managing teams

* 2+ years experience writing complex SQL queries and performing data analysis

Preferred Qualifications

* Subject matter expertise with workspace and/or security domain
