QA Manager

Job Description

The QA Manager is accountable for driving the day-to-day execution and communication with our QA vendors while advocating for a high-quality bar across multiple titles and platforms. You will have 5+ years of QA project management experience in video game development, as well as experience working with a third-party QA vendor. Working directly with our vendors, you will help manage the QA processes for new hardware launches, support content for existing hardware in the market, be involved in the creation and execution of test plans, and report on our project metrics to measure our success.

QA Manager Responsibilities

* Work directly with third party developers from Alpha to launch, delivering high-quality functional releases

* Manage third party vendors to drive titles through our QA process from Alpha to launch

* Update data tracking tools with the latest project information

* Attend weekly QA calls and project risk meetings

* Work cross-functionally with multiple internal groups (marketing, communications, software, hardware, and content)

* Be an advocate for the QA process for all pieces of content releasing on our platforms

Minimum Qualifications

* 5+ years of QA Project Management in VR, console, or PC video games

* 2+ years working with an external vendor

* Experience with end-to-end game QA process

* Understanding of game production life cycle, tools, process and execution planning

* Experience with Compliance and Certification testing

* Familiar with multiple bug tracking databases

* Familiarity with multiple genres of PC and/or console games

Preferred Qualifications

* Platform QA and new hardware development experience

* VR development

* Experience with Salesforce
