PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
The (Sr.) Analyst, Content Marketing will develop and distribute compelling brand content to increase Constellation brand equity and customer loyalty. The (Sr.) Analyst will also leverage key industry events to champion Constellation energy expertise and thought leadership. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, content and social calendar management and prioritization, development and distribution of original content across owned media channels (Constellation.com, Energy for Business blog, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) and leadership of Constellations executive speaker bureau initiative. The (Sr.) Analyst will coordinate revision and reuse of existing assets, author new content, and edit content authored by colleagues, freelancers and external agencies. Examples include blogs, sales materials, case studies, website copy, and social posts. This role reports to the Director, Brand Marketing and Corporate Sponsorships at Constellation.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Develop relevant and timely brand content (e.g. blogs, sales materials, case studies, website copy, and social posts) in support of Constellation business priorities and key events; includes coordination with subject matter experts, authorship, and/or editing. Works across Constellation customer segments with primary focus on B2B.
Manage monthly content and social calendars; coordinate creation and distribution
Manage and maintain C&I content database; collaborate with cross-functional teammates to prioritize development of new content (written, graphic, video) and refresh/reuse of existing content
Partner with external PR agency and internal Communications team to reinforce Constellation thought leadership by securing executive speaking opportunities at relevant industry events; manage logistics, develop key messages and create content to amplify participation.
Maintain Constellation MarketEdge and its contents; e.g., Retail at a Glance, RFP templates and marketing collateral and brand assets on BrandHub.
Lead creation and distribution of the annual Constellation holiday card
Contribute to monthly scorecard
Qualifications
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
Minimum:
Bachelors Degree in Marketing
5-8 years in Marketing, marketing management, communications or journalism.
Proven leadership, credibility, interpersonal and team skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; superior interpersonal ability; tact and diplomacy.
Strong copywriting and editing skills.
A proven track record of vision, creative thinking, and coordination of complex programs
Ability to multi-task and work well under deadline pressure with external and internal partners at all levels.
Executive presence and broad experience interacting with senior executives.
Ability to develop and implement short-and-long-term goals.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
This position can be located at any Constellation business office, or the Baltimore Headquarters in Baltimore.
Preferred:
MBA preferred
Goal orientation with a high level of energy, enthusiasm and dedication to brand vision and community stewardship preferred.
Ability to effectively plan, focus and execute innovative/creative partnerships preferred
