Position Overview
The Robotic Welder is tasked with welding parts together to be used in the assembly of refrigeration units

Duties and Essential Work Functions

* Ability to read a work order and blueprints
* Operate a resistance, robotic, metal inert gas or tungsten inert gas welder
* Test and inspect welded surfaces for quality assurance, ensuring it meets Hillphoenix standards
* Perform preventative maintenance on above-listed welders
* Maintains work area in clean, safe and orderly manner

Work Experience and/or Education Requirements

* HS Diploma/GED
* One year of previous welding experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
* Proficient math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)

Essential Physical/Environmental Requirements

* May be required to perform specific tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting or kneeling
* Must be able to lift with or without mechanical aids on a recurring basis (up to 50 lbs)
* Work is performed within a production environment, subject to temperature variations, hazardous chemicals, mechanical parts, increased noise levels and dust
* Some overtime may be required
