Position Purpose

This position will manage a small team of accountants within the Phoenix Regional Finance Centers primarily supporting accounting for Aerospace Engineering programs and sites. Additionally, this person will help drive standardization as we continue to transition the support of additional Aerospace sites.

Position Responsibilities

Manage and mentor a team of accountants early in their careers.

Support the PP&C and Program Management teams

Define tasks, required resources, project plans, define project scope and deliverables, allocate resources to implement manage and complete projects

Track deliverables, monitor and present to stakeholders on the progress of projects

Work cross-functionally inside and outside the RFC

Evaluate and assess result of project

Implement and manage change when necessary to meet team goals

Conduct financial due diligence and apply accounting procedures while also gathering and analyzing data

Seek methods to enhance overall efficiency and performance

Think Globally, work closely with support teams, and other regions

Share knowledge and ensure consistency as we bring additional site support under the Phoenix RFC.

Review, analyze, streamline and standardize department processes, work instructions, business practices

You Must Have

* Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
* 10+ years of directly related accounting/financial analysis experience
* Demonstrated strong project management leadership
* Demonstrated strong mentoring through leadership
* Demonstrated strong understanding of SAP and management reporting
* Due to defense contract related work, must be a U.S. Citizen
