What Does an Exceptional Application Analyst do?

You will be responsible to develop and implement applications using Java/Websphere technologies (Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate) on the WAS platform to support business requirements. You will develop robust, test driven, maintainable software and work with top-notch engineers and architects to create elegant and understandable designs. Work with architects and product managers to create elegant, understandable designs for new features Solve challenging problems across the software development lifecycle be they technical, process or interpersonal Ensure that the software meets and/or exceeds security, uptime, and stability goals Supports existing business systems applications and may be responsible for leading technical aspects of a project. Performs additional job duties as required.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
3+ yrs. of related IT experience.
Experience developing large, robust Java web applications
Expertise in object-oriented development utilizing DAO and MVC design patterns and best practices
Experience developing and maintaining RESTful web services/API platforms Object-Oriented Design experience
Experience with modern Java frameworks such as Spring Framework
Experience with Hibernate
Experience with SAML 2.0 and SSO functionality
Experience with Websphere Application Servers or Liberty
Experience with Test Driven Development and writing JUnit Tests
Experience in financial services, payments, processing, and/or small and medium businesses is a plus

Travel required: 10%
