General Responsibilities
* Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts of high level complexity (with corresponding evidential support)
* Ensure all activity is properly recorded and outstanding items are cleared within 30 days.
* Prepare any necessary journal entries (including accruals) to ensure expenses and income are properly recorded in the correct accounting period.
* Perform monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analysis
* Ensure receivables and payables are collected/paid within payment terms.
* Investigate and report to the Supervisor any inconsistencies or improprieties.
* Analyze data to ensure proper accounting procedures have been followed
* Prepare financial reports, charts, tables and other exhibits as requested
* Assist in driving continuous process and procedural improvements
* Assist with training of new employees and ensure training material/documentation is kept current.
* Identify process/accounting issues and assist in creation of action plan to ensure resolution.
Essential Requirements
* Education:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting
MBA and/or CPA is Preferred
Professional Experience:
3-5 years accounting experience
Knowledge:
Budgeting
Forecasting
G/L Experience
Variance Analysis

Skills:
Strong analytical and accounting skills.
Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
