Fidelity Personal Investing Client Solutions Technology Chapter Area is looking for a passionate Full Stack Senior Software Engineer to build and support world-class products for its critical Planning and Advice business. Our engineering team is innovative, diverse, passionate and self-driven. We work in a very dynamic agile environment.

The Team:

As a senior engineer on the team, your primary role will be building, testing and engineering customer facing web/mobile applications using modern technologies. You will be expected to quickly gain understanding of all the components of our applications and core systems in our technology stack and will work with the team to deliver best in class customer experience solutions.

The Expertise You Have:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
* 5+ years of hands-on software development and engineering experience.
* 3+ years of experience working in complex web or mobile internet facing technology initiatives.
* 2+ years experience working in agile development environment (Scrum/Kanban).
* 1+ years of experience in Test Driven Development.
* Required and deep experience implementing solutions using the following technologies:
* Responsive Frontend UI development leveraging JavaScript/CSS/SASS/HTML
* Single Page Application development using Angular/TypeScript/RxJS/NgRx
* REST API development leveraging NodeJS/NestJS/ExpressJS/Java/Spring.
* Popular JavaScript frameworks and tools like Underscore/Babel/Webpack.
* Production Support Operations Tools like Splunk/Datadog.
* Nice to have experience implementing solutions using the following technologies/concepts:
* Application development on Public Cloud e.g. AWS(ECS/EKS, S3, Lambda).
* DevOps CI/CD tools like Jenkins, uDeploy.
* Building backends for frontend leveraging GraphQL.
* Containerization technology like Docker.
* Native Mobile development - Kotlin(Android) /Swift(IOS).
* Proven experience in Monorepo development and Nx tooling.
* E2E/Function Test automation Gherkin/Protractor/Mocha/Jasmine/Cypress.

* Assist in coordinating multiple development work streams through integration and ensure architecture is scalable, resilient, extensible and aligned to strategic vision.
* Define, maintain, and support development environments and best practices, leveraging open-source tools.
* Assist in identification, isolation, resolution, and communication of problems within the production and non-production environment and perform troubleshooting.
* Perform code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing using open-source frameworks.
* Provide mentorship to junior team members.
* Drive and give to continuous process improvement initiatives.

History of Fidelity Investments

The Fidelity Fund was established in 1930, a year after the stock market crash of 1929 and before the Great Depression of 1933. The fund continued to operate until 1943 when it was acquired by Boston-based lawyer Edward C. Johnson II. At the time, the fund reported assets under management valued at $3 million. In 1946, Johnson II founded the Fidelity Management and Research Company, now Fidelity Investments, to serve as an investment advisor to the Fidelity Fund. When running the fund, Johnson’s objective was to buy stocks with a potential for growth, and not necessarily blue-chip stocks.

The mutual fund division comprises three divisions – equity, high-income, and fixed income divisions.
