The Senior Human Resources Business Partner will be responsible for the short term and long term strategic leadership of all aspects of HR management for assigned Global Functions and Business Units. The incumbent will serve as an advisor and counsel to their leadership teams in an effort to help them achieve their business goals through effective HR strategy and practice and provide human resource guidance as needed for effective decision-making. They will be responsible for the acquisition and development of talent as well as creating and maintaining a highly productive and engaging work environment. They will serve as a member of the global HR team demonstrating the work and support of common Human Resource systems, tools, resources, and processes.
* Act as HRBP to assigned client groups. Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to business leaders, giving effective feedback, performance coaching, and development advice in support of their leadership effectiveness.
* Influence business outcomes through credible and authentic relationships with leaders and colleagues
* Identifies trends in assigned business areas and partners with leadership to create and implement plans to address challenges (skill gaps, turnover, diversity, utilization, performance improvement/management, organization design, and restructuring, etc.).
* Facilitate leadership development programs and training courses.
* Partner with business leaders on initiatives that engage associates and promote retention of key talent. Understand associate needs and facilitate effective communication channels between leaders and associates. Sponsor and drive events and programs designed to increase employee engagement. Drive a culture of diversity and inclusion including championing key corporate initiatives and training as well as developing regional and local D&I plans.
* Leads annual performance management processes; facilitates calibration and helps drive appropriate differentiation of ratings and rewards. Works with managers to pro-actively address performance issues.
* Drive effective and timely talent management processes (P4G, D4G, leadership planning, talent movement, and OTA). Partner with business leaders on initiatives that engage associates and promote retention of key talent. Own the organizational review process that evaluates structure, competency, knowledge, and talent gaps and develop specific strategies to fill the gaps.
* Through a partnership with Platform TA and Regional HR teams, provide strategic staffing and recruitment consultation. Assist in identifying, interviewing, and selecting candidates for open roles within assigned client groups. Partner to identify key functional and leadership talent to strengthen the talent pipeline and increase organizational diversity.
* Participate in and drive the implementation of special HR projects including pivotal initiatives to help align employees to strategic goals of the business.
* Partner with COEs and Regional HR partners on effectively demonstrating and implementing total reward programs and processes including merit review; equity planning; bonus planning; promotions; special adjustments;
* Counsel leaders in alignment with SCIEX policies/practices, legal considerations, and company prioritiesadvocating both company and Associate concerns
* Resolve employee relations issues through a systematic approach with clear documentation and follow through.
* Maintain and provide analytics to various partners.
* Partner with COEs and Regional HR teams to provide day-to-day transactional needs of client groups throughout the employee life cycle.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
* BS or BA Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
* A minimum of ten (10) years of Human Resources management experience
* Proven experience supporting Global business leaders and teams in a matrixed environment.
* Demonstrated experience in utilizing continuous improvement standard methodologies
* Broad understanding of the technical and functional components of human resources, including recruiting, talent management, organizational design/development, organization planning, leadership development, compensation; compliance; planning; M&A due diligence and integration, employee communications; training and development, and employee relations
* Business Knowledge includes beneficial perspective, financial awareness and cost control, industry knowledge, strategic focus, diverse business experience
* Working Knowledge of Workday preferred
