Job Description
Essential job responsibilities
* Manage penetration testing coverage across Cepheid's fast-growing customer-facing cloud-based environments, Mobile App, and other GeneXpert products.
* Proficient in client-server-based architecture; understand one or more technical disciplines, such as software development/engineering methodologies, system/network security engineering principles, secure design, secure architecture, and/or secure coding techniques.
* Lead/contribute vulnerability/incident assessment as per our defined process
* Risk Management knowledgeable; hands-on experience with RMF
* Provide continuous monitoring security expertise to business units and key stakeholders
* Perform architecture reviews as part of the product security process and perform a risk assessment
* Influencing product features and roadmaps while implementing security in assigned products
* Building capabilities, tools, and help automate where possible driving improvements to Cepheid product security process and practices
* knowledgeable in key aspects of the hardware; software, protocols, cloud, and related infrastructure technology stack.
Minimum requirements:
* Bachelors Degree (or Assoc.5+ yrs.), Master's Degree (or Assoc. 3+ yrs.), or Doctoral degree in a field with 0-2 years of related work experience.
