Description
This position is responsible for Commercial Loan Syndication administration and processing. The incumbent will service complex portfolio of commercial construction loans.
* Ensures the timely and accurate execution of loan servicing and maintenance activity with an emphasis on analyzing calculations such as loan and fee accruals.
* In depth review of loan construction draws and monitoring of budgets to ensure line items are in balance and proper reallocations.
* Maintain a specific portfolio of customer accounts. Process payments, advances, payoffs, rate changes and other maintenance related to these transactions.
* Balance accrual, billing and general ledger accounts and systems, monitor report and escalate outstanding items.
* Process Swingline and Sweep related transactions and occasionally produce manual settlements.
* Work with customers, lending regions, internal departments and other banks to resolve syndication and participation differences, manually recalculating loan histories if needed.
* Research complex escalated issues and effectively convey pertinent information to management and business stakeholders.
* Create and review departmental procedures aligned with regulatory requirements
* Assist in department projects including system upgrades, conversions and interfaces
* Interface closely with Portfolio and Relationship Managers and collaborate to reduce cycle time for client delivery as well as drive operational efficiencies for day to day processing
* Assist with training of junior members and serve as proxy for Manager as needed
Qualifications
3-5 years experience reviewing Commercial loan documentation
3+ years experience in an Agency Services role
General ledger balancing experience
Education:
Bachelor degree preferred
