Global Functions Technology (GFT) delivers innovative technology solutions and key global platforms for Citis Global Functions division. These solutions enable Citi to comply with regulatory mandates and empower our businesses to achieve their goals, both current and long-term. Our products and initiatives adhere to Citis strategic architecture and support the end-to-end integration of multiple global functions within the bank including Finance, Risk, and Controls.

Job Purpose:

The GFT Risk Program Lead will be responsible for all aspects of program execution through to implementation for a set of multi-year change programs, with particular focus on a large scale technology transformation of our Risk Technology platforms. The GFT Risk Program lead role will report into the GFT Global Program Lead.

The Risk Program Lead will drive a portfolio of change programs that spans Market Risk, Credit Risk, Operational Risk and Model Risk Management, across both Institutional and Consumer business groups

Key Responsibilities:

* In this role you will act as a Technology Partner and Advisor to Market and Credit Risk business leads.
* You will build strong working relationships with business and operational partners and as well as multiple technology teams in both a regional and global setting.
* You will define and own integrated plans across the technology teams for key global risk strategic and regulatory programs, over a multi-year time horizon.
* You will ensure the right level of sponsorship and ongoing governance is in place to drive program execution, that we have appropriate & viable technology execution plans, with robust processes to manage risks, issues and dependencies across a complex estate.
* You will build and manage a technology project execution team with the right skillset and experience to manage complex projects, and actively engage in career development of direct staff.
* You will drive end to end prioritisation, business case development, requirements management and project execution through to implementation of the key priorities that drive the GFT and Finance strategy.
* You will drive a culture of accountability across the teams, including the business stakeholder functions.
* You will ensure that appropriate end to end context is at the forefront and the appropriate end to end process and technical architecture principles are reinforced.
* You will lead communication for a highly complex change program to global stakeholder
* You will routinely benchmark GFT program management process against citi and industry best practices and create a culture of continuous self-improvement against transparent measurable metrics with the aim to deliver best in class services to our clients

Desired Knowledge/Experience:

* You should have 10+ years of recent experience as a technology leader partnering with senior stakeholders across multiple geographies and functions, as well as demonstrated ability to build a strong collaborative relationships that culminate in a delivery track record
* You should have a passion for technology and be conversant with industry direction, leading products and trends and a track record of having successfully delivered competitive advantage through technology services.
* Experience and/or knowledge of Financial Planning & Forecasting would be highly desirable as this is a key area of focus for our technology transformation.
* Experience and/or understanding of regulations and dealing with regulators is a plus
* You should have a strong sense of financial soundness and demonstrate a reasonable understanding of budgeting, forecasting and expense management
* You should have experience building and managing diverse, inclusive, high performing teams and keep them engaged and motivated
