Job Description
Educate consumers on the basics of personal finance and assist in the creation of a customized plan that reflects the values and goals of the consumer. Helps coached customers plan for all phases of their future through one-on-one, couple, or small-group sessions through the varying stages of their goal's lifecycle, while personalizing each interaction. Empowers consumers to take responsibility for their decisions, supports their continual learning and growth, and may serve as a accountability partner throughout the process. Works consultatively with the customer (and may engage with business partners), focusing on long-term improvement of overall financial behavior.
In this role you will be coaching customers in a virtual environment while collaborating with peer coaches and an Agile journey team on iterating and improving the process for the program.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Three to five years of professional coaching experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Certified coach (from a recognized, certification body/institution such as International Coaching Federation (ICF) - ACC, PCC or MCC certification)
- Good understanding of Consumer bank products, financial planning and the advice process
- Demonstrated use of coaching skills and motivational techniques when working with customers
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Measurable and demonstrated track record of excellent customer service and customer satisfaction
- Experience in hospitality, training, psychology, sociology or teaching a plus
