Job Description

A client focused approach, involving all businesses delivering Citi to our clients, is an important Citi strategy. The ICG Business Development Group serves clients by driving cross-referral activity among Banking, Capital Markets & Advisory, Citi Private Bank, Treasury & Trade Solutions, Citi Markets, Citi Commercial Bank and the Global Consumer Bank.

Our primary responsibilities are to generate Firm revenues by identifying and developing 1) opportunities for BCMA to advise and finance Citi Private Banks clients and their companies and 2) opportunities for Citi Private Bank to deliver wealth management solutions to ICG clients owners and executives who have experienced liquidity events (IPOs, M&A;, etc) or have other private banking needs. In addition, we help expand ICG client relationships through cross marketing with other areas of Citi, such as Citi Commercial Banking, Citi Personal Wealth Management and Treasury & Trade Solutions.

This role provides an unparalleled learning experience across all businesses of Citi while offering the opportunity for direct client contact and broad exposure to senior levels of BCMA, Markets, CCB, TTS, CPB and GCB organizations.

BDG is the primary product partner and point of contact for Citi Private Bank to BCMA, working with Private Bankers and their clients to identify, analyze and develop potential advisory, financing and investment opportunities

Responsibilities include:

* conduct initial meetings and calls with these clients and their companies
* review these opportunities with senior members of BCMA
* organize and introduce appropriate teams of industry and product bankers to work with these clients
* attend BCMA Industry Group meetings as product partner
* identify and develop new client opportunities for Citi Private Bank with BCMA (i.e. executives and owners of existing BCMA clients or corporate level programs such as directed share or share selling programs)
* identify opportunities to present Citi Private Bank or Citi Personal Wealth Management offerings such as directed share or selling programs on a corporate level to BCMA clients
* identify opportunities to introduce BCMA offerings (private placements, M&A;, etc) to the Private Bank for distribution via CPBs platform
* managing the Third Party Investment Bank Referral Program to refer smaller M&A; and capital raising mandates to six partner firms across NAM
* development and delivery of relevant marketing materials and content for both BCMA and Citi Private Bank to support these efforts including detailed cross-referral reports
* Work closely with the Private Banks Private Capital Group on a broad set of Family Office focused initiatives
* BDG has primary responsibility for the recently launched BCMA/CPB Revenue Share Agreement

Qualifications:

* 5-8 years of relevant experience
* Advanced Excel expertise including demonstrated capabilities with pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas
* Experience with databases and information management
* Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Education:

* Bachelors Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
