The Business Analyst reviews, analyzes, develops and evaluates business processes and metrics; performs root cause analyses of opportunities and process breakdowns to formulate business process improvements; documents existing business processes and performs gap analyses to develop best practices to meet business needs; develops systems and processes to track key performance indicators for individuals, teams and the department; and publishes reports of department KPIs to stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Aggregate large data sets from multiple sources to develop workstream reporting to drive business decisions.
* Collaborates with Stakeholders to document and inform team(s) on necessary data structures, sources, and flows.
* Review and analyze data for productivity and accuracy; performs analysis to determine root cause and recommend business processes to address.
* Develops, analyzes and reviews key performance indicators (KPIs) at the team, department, and workstream levels.
* Leverage Microsoft applications to develop and deploy business solutions tools to increase automation and reduce waste.
* Create training material and process documentation.
* Assist project management team with scoping and scheduling of internal Continuous Improvement projects (CI).
* Works with stakeholders to document business requirements and process documentation for ad-hoc, on demand, and standard reports

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Training:

* Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Purchasing or other analytically oriented major preferred

Related Experience:

* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a business/system analysis position with a solid understanding of data analytics.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

* High level proficiency with Microsoft Office; (Excel, Word, Outlook) understands formulas and utilizes v-look-ups; and Outlook: schedules meetings, manages calendar
* Ability to work with a large volume of data through tools such as Microsoft Power Suites, PowerApps, Power Automate & Excel.
* Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment and interact with a variety of associates (all levels), external customers and vendor community in a supportive and positive manner.
* Strong attention to detail and flexibility follow through on commitments and to work within an environment of changing priorities.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Solid relationship building skills for interpersonal communication with internal and external customers and vendors.
* Motivated self-starter that demonstrates positive attitude and business maturity.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to respond professionally to internal and external phone calls and correspondence.
* Ability to work independently and in a collaborative manner; demonstrate business maturity in conduct of daily activities.
* Experience using SQL to extract data sets from a Data Lake (i.e. Snowflake).
* Leveraging large data sets to create Visuals for digital reporting (i.e. Tableau)
* Basic experience leveraging Python (i.e. Pandas)
* Moderate experience leveraging VBA (Excel & Access)
* Experience developing & maintaining back-end system databases.
* Ability to learn new systems and processes with basic training.
* Ability to prioritize workload, meet critical deadlines and work calmly under pressure.
* Ability to work as needed to support business requirements.
