Purpose of Job

We are currently seeking a talented Accounts Payable & Receivables Assistant II for the San Antonio Home Office I.

Performs financial and accounting functions and various administrative tasks. Provides support through one or more of the following functions: data entry, reconciliation of accounts, processing of invoices / payments, customer service, clerical support, generation of metrics, research and resolution of issues and items of exception.

Job Overview

* Applies intermediate knowledge of financial operations to ensure internal systems are in working order.
* Under general supervision, assists with processing of financial transactions in a timely manner to meet service level agreements.
* Applies intermediate knowledge of financial operations and collaborates with team in identifying issues for escalation and problem resolution.
* Collaborates with team members in documenting process maps and procedures for key processes.
* Consistently contributes to team and organizational goals.
* Acquires and applies intermediate knowledge of policies, processes, industry practices, systems and/or equipment.
* Performs all other tasks as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

* High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma required.
* Minimum of 1-year equivalent data entry, accounts payable/receivables work experience.
* Developing knowledge of financial supporting functions such as data entry, accounts receivable / payable and reconciliations.
* Developing experience applying basic financial and accounting concepts.
* Ten-key by touch.
* Developing knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

* Experience in the Property & Casualty and/or Life Insurance industry

Compensation:

USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position. The salary range for this position is: $33,280.00 - $55,100.00 *(this does not include geographic differential it may be applied based on your work location)

Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.

*Geographical Differential: Geographic pay differential is additional pay provided to eligible employees working in locations where market pay levels are above the national average.

Shift premium will be addressed on an individual-basis for applicable roles that are consistently scheduled for non-core hours.
