Primary Responsibilities

* Assist Event Operation Center Manager in the day-to-day management, operation, planning and implementation to ensure department objectives are fulfilled per the various contractual requirements.
* Administer department/Company policy and procedures to include: handling employee issues, monitoring PTO and overtime, timesheet approval, interviewing, oversight of new hire orientation and routine departmental tasks.
* Supervise EOC Center of Excellence staff to ensure that productivity and quality standards are met. Ensures training, development and individual productivity of staff.
* Responsible for the oversight of training and maintenance of Network Providers/Practitioners to ensure performance of quality services that result in successful event fulfillment.
* Oversee the initial and continuing education training for providers and practitioners pertaining to group event services.
* Responsible for the development and impmentation of training material for all internal roles within the EOC, to include classroom instruction, monitoring and ongoing education of EOC team members.
* Provide guidance to staff for provider inquiries, concerns, complaints, appeals and grievances. Manage and promote provider and customer satisfaction.
* Create and maintain policies and procedures for training standards, contract compliance, and quality industry standards of these practices
* Works cross-functionally, making recommendations or clarifying information to assist in closing gaps that are identified or meeting customer expectations
* Evaluates current processes, compare to relevant standards or specifications and identify gaps in compliance or performance
* Develops understanding of customer requirements and/or expectations and anticipate needs to determine appropriate course of action

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Business or other related field
* Minimum 2 years similar or related work experience to include supervisory or leadership experience required or equivalent combination of education, experience and/or applicable military experience will be considered
* Must be willing to adapt to a Central Time Zone schedule between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
* Must also be willing to travel on an occasional basis
* If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas, In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders.

Preferred Qualifications

* National Career Readiness Certificate
* Experience with distance learning software
* Understanding of medical and dental providers and associated troubleshooting techniques
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with health care Providers
* Database experience
* SharePoint, Learning Management System (Moodle) experience
* Ability to identify and facilitate appropriate training techniques
* Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to influence and negotiate through use of verbal, written and interpersonal means with a diverse group of people/disciplines at all levels of an organization.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, flexible and adaptable to changing situations
* Ability to lead and direct the abilities of others required as well as manage and monitor performance
* Excellent teamwork and leadership skills
* Ability to perform detailed work with a high degree of accuracy
* Strong analytical thinking; multi-tasking, organizational and time management skills
* Must be able to problem solve and propose solutions; ability to demonstrate an appropriate level of assertiveness in performing work responsibilities under extreme deadlines
