The Sr Technical Business Integration Specialist will provide just in time technical operational support to the lines of business to increase system and application availability and reliability and to improve interactions for the Guest and Cast.
They will advance continuous improvement strategies through business integration and feedback regarding challenges identified within systems and applications, and the impacts to the business. This data is leveraged to prioritize critical technology solutions to support the operations.
Responsibilities:
* As a Sr Technology Business Integration Specialist, this role facilitates conversations with the LOB operations leaders and Cast to gather critical data to improve the availability and efficiencies of the technology systems and applications leveraged by the operations.
* Completes an analysis of the data collections and informs technology leaders of findings, to include prioritized recommendations.
* Utilizes logged incidents and problem data to conduct an analysis, identify common issues, and prioritize recommendations on solutions for the technology organization.
* Drives accountability and collaboration between technology organizations for technology fixes to improve reliability.
* Is responsible for cross referencing data collected through facilitated integration meetings with Service Now logged incidents to validate findings holistically.
* Functions as the key SME for Guest / Cast system incidents (P1 or P2 level) and drives the incident with partners to resolutions quickly. Responsible for the communications, integration and collaboration with key stakeholders and partners during and after the incident.
* Conducts after action reviews with the technology and business leaders for major incidents (P1 or P2 level) to inform continuous improvement
* Act as a conduit to the Systems Engineering and Solutions Engineering organizations to support solutions.
* Onboarding new systems / applications for L1 & major incident management support including creation of knowledge documentation, runbooks, and developing the necessary monitoring capabilities (Splunk or equivalent).
* May include an on call rotation for major incident support.
* NOTE: Resource must be physically present in Anaheim, CA to support the in Park operations and contact centers.
Basic Qualifications:
* Strong knowledge of technology systems and how they are utilized within the operations.
* Demonstrated knowledge of Parks and Resorts operations.
* Demonstrated knowledge of the business and technology processes to support the Guest and Cast experiences.
* Demonstrated ability to identify areas for continuous improvement, leverage process mapping and prioritize recommendations and design implementation plans.
* Ability to build strong and expand critical business relationships across diverse areas of Disney Parks Technology and Parks Operations.
* Ability to design and showcase data to all levels of leadership in a clear and direct manner to inform and support decision making.
* Strong data analytics capabilities.
* Strong knowledge of Service Now.
* Certification(s) in key technologies, i.e., Splunk, AWS, App Dynamics, Databases, Java, etc.
* A strong presence and sense of ownership in all areas of responsibility requiring little day-to-day direction from leadership, while being utterly reliable.
* Must have a sense of urgency, be self-directed and results oriented.
* Strong oral and written communications skills
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
Required Education
* Bachelors Degree preferred or equivalent years of experience.
