Qualified candidates must be able to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.The System Maintainer team requires a member with thorough computer system administration knowledge and/or experience on Linux platforms. The selected candidate will work in a structured configuration controlled environment, primarily focused on the support and maintenance of real-time system applications on an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contract. Qualified candidates will be responsible for evaluating platform level problems and providing immediate solutions to restore service.

Key Responsibilities:

* Configure, administer, maintain, and support computer systems in 24x7 operations and engineering support environments (primarily running RedHat Enterprise Linux and Windows clients and servers)
* Configure, monitor, maintain, and administer system backup, recovery, and reconstitution solutions
* Support operations and engineering end users and accounts
* Perform updates, patching and baseline changes to computer systems, adhering to strong configuration management standards
* Interface with external services for DNS, NTP, and others
* Troubleshoot problems with hardware, software, system configuration, COTS, network interfaces, network firewall filters, system resources, and/or user accounts to resolve issues
* Monitor and review logs and system performance to ensure system health and proactively resolve issues
* Support projects including upgrades, installations, and replacement of software, hardware, and networking equipment following strong systems engineering processes, procedures, and policies
* Support Information Security requirements, policies, standards, and configurations

Requirements:

* U.S. Citizenship and an Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI polygraph are required.
* Demonstrated ability in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
* Ability to work in a structured configuration controlled environment, primarily focused on the support and maintenance of real-time systems on an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contract
* Knowledge of or experience working in a Linux environment
* Work travel 10%

Desired Requirements:

* Experience with NFS, LDAP, NIS, Active Directory, SElinux, IPtables, CUPS, and Oracle
* Experience with COTS products HP Operations Manager, Performance Manager, Network Node Manager, Data Protector, Legato Networker, integrated Lights Out, Citrix, Microsoft Office, Visio
* Experience with Atlassian products (Bitbucket, Jira, & Confluence)
* Security+CE Certification

Required Education:

Bachelors degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) field.

In compliance with Colorados Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $48,200 to $81,900; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidates work experience, education/training, and key skills.
