Job Description

PPG is hiring an Outsourcing Analyst for our location in Cranberry Twp, PA.
As a Outsourcing Analyst, you will lead and execute purchasing, procurement, and supply chain processes for items produced internationally and domestically for PPG. If you are looking to work within a positive dynamic team environment, this one is it!

Key Responsibilities:

Ability to multi-task many Supply Chain issues at any given time (Sourcing Work, Service Level, Inventory, Expedited shipments, DC issues)
Maintain healthy stock items along with level of service
Review excess inventory and take actions to reduce accordingly (Slob/ Reduce Safety Stock, Review Supplier Min/ Max , Inventory Supermarkets, etc).
Lead communication with assigned suppliers including supplier production management, costing, art and product spec changes, compliance and legal requirements and shipment management/fulfillment
Resolve service and inventory issues for assigned products and suppliers
Maintain inventory levels to meet inventory and service level goals according to forecast prognostications
Update and create BOM info/ Safety stock/ Costing in ERP system. (SAP)
Coordinate procurement of compliance information (i.e. SDS, MSDS, RMIR, etc.) from suppliers for R&D and EH&S departments
Coordinate meetings with outside suppliers to ensure production and supply needs are met.
Build Ariba POs for Homax R&D prototypes, tooling, engineering
Assure that Supplier account is current and work to identify discrepancies in receiving and costing as necessary to keep everything up to date . Resolve all issues timely and acturately
High degree of Accountability. Works well with internal / External PPG customers and meets the needs of the business in a timely fashion
Initiative to make the PPG Supply run smoothly and efficiently at out outside supply base.

Qualifications:

B.S. Degree in Supply Chain or related field.
5 years minimum of experience as an Inventory/Outsourcing Analyst
Previous experience in Purchasing
SAP Experience
Ability to demonstrate: good attention to detail, good organizational, written and verbal communication skills, ability to manage multiple projects, ability to analyze data and make sound decisions, and show initiative and efficiency in driving projects to success.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in particular) is required.
