Job Description

As a Global Director of Quality you will be responsible for coating facilities located worldwide. Key focus areas include development and implementation of corporate strategic technical, process, and quality performance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

* Manages multidiscipline technical/ quality staff team across multiple countries and regions
* Champions the development and implementation of corporate strategic CSOS process and quality performance initiatives.
* Leads / supports process and quality investigations, continuous process improvements, process productivity initiatives and critical product launches
* Resolves critical Customer complaints and relationship issues
* Travels as required to CSV facilities to support the resolve of quality issues.
* Drives implementation of technology related to CSOS quality systems, WINSPC,
* Manages the CSOS including policy and document development, updates, training and maintaining the centralized storage web site and permissions to use.
* Drives efforts to maintain certification, effectiveness and suitability of TS16949, IATF, ISO and customer provided programs in manufacturing facilities worldwide
* Leads the qualification process of critical suppliers as it relates to materials, services and competitiveness.
* Drives the use of advanced core quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, 8D's, SPC, etc)
* Develops, maintains and implements technical training programs to maintain the highest level of competency among technical and quality employees
* Qualifies, approves and recommends quality candidates globally to ensure the highest educational and professional competency
* Builds and maintains necessary industry contacts and relationships
* Quality Management - Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness

Qualifications

* Bachelors Degree in an Engineering or related field; and 5 7 years related experience and training required.
* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office products required.
