Located at Pier 17, s23NYC is a dedicated team of marketers, designers, makers, and engineers focused on reimagining how Nikes most dedicated fans unlock, discover, and think about their kicks. With a passion for sneakers and an emphasis on rewarding the community that loves them, s23NYC builds, designs and deploys innovative, interactive, and slightly mischievous features for the Nike SNKRS app (iOS and Android).
The SNKRS app has scaled to 22 countries and has seen revenue skyrocket from $70M to $755M. As quoted in Nike earnings announcement from Nike CEO Mark Parker, The SNKRS App has become an incredible asset to our brand with users checking in daily and has acquired more new members than any other digital channel for NIKE. For the fiscal year, SNKRS more than doubled its business, doubled its number of monthly active users, and now accounts for roughly 20% of our overall digital business.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are in search of an iOS Engineer to join the Nike Digital Innovation team, working primarily on the SNKRS iOS application and creating shareable features that can exist in the Nike iOS ecosystem.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL BE:
* Innovating, architecting, designing and implementing highly visible projects that directly impact the customer experience
* Contributing ideas for new features and identifying areas for improvement proactively
* Collaborating with development and product team members at Nike to design, develop, and deploy innovative mobile applications
* Provide technical guidance and engineering practices to initiate, plan, and execute unique and innovative experiences
* Writing clean, tested, and well-documented code
WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE:
* Previous iOS development experience
* Experiencing developing native iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C
* Knowledge of common design patterns such as MVVM and reactive programming paradigms
* Previous experience using dependency management frameworks such as Cocoa-pods
* Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, multi-threaded environments
* Working knowledge of Scrum and other agile practices
