Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for adjusting and processing claims received through various work queues; including returned correspondence
* Assists in the responsibilities for the overall support of the Provider Control Unit such as researching and analyzing information to handling and correcting discrepancies
* Assisting with daily inventory by effectively work load balancing in Daily Work Assignments
* Utilizes multiple mainframe, PC and Internet based systems
* Recommend appropriate process improvement opportunities regarding system enhancements and documentation/standard operation procedures (SOPs) updates
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
* High School Diploma
* Strong analytical and research skills
* Possess a positive attitude and drive with the ability to promote team work throughout the organization
* Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Ability to work independently with minimum supervision with the capability to adapt to a constantly changing environment
Preferred:
* Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
* Demonstrated critical thinking in activities requiring analysis, investigation, and/or planning.
