As a Senior Project Engineer, responsibilities will include:

Leading management of facility projects with cost, technical and schedule authority.
Exercising technical authority for the design, planning, organizing, control, integration and completion of assigned Facility Engineering projects to include major facility modifications, construction projects, Class III support equipment projects, and facility systems engineering projects for the Trident II missile.
Developing and reviewing engineering data packages; drawings, specifications, testing/acceptance procedures and cost estimates
Planning and formulating engineering program reviews, product design for compliance with engineering principles, International Building Codes (IBC) and Lockheed Martin standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications
Evaluating and approving design changes, specification and drawing releases
Coordinating and participating in activities concerned with technical development, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems
Collaborating closely with internal and external partners on the planning of activities to ensure production needs are addressed.

Typically has 5 - 10 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
Construction Management and Project Management experience in commercial, industrial, government, military or DoD facilities
Bachelor's or masters degree in Construction Management, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or other related engineering degree from an accredited college or equivalent work experience
Experience analyzing technical requirements and ability to translate to design
Experience in design, management, and implementation of facility projects from conception to completion
Experience facilitating design reviews with and understanding of the adjudication and verification processes
US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and/or maintain your Secret clearance. Interim clearance required prior to start.
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with the MILCON process
Licensure in Construction Management or Professional Engineer (P.E.)
Experience on a Defense Program involving missiles, working directly with customer counterparts to resolve technical issues
Understand A&E design review process and oversight of engineering design packages and prepare the following Facility Engineering Products: Facility Design Criteria, Statement of Work and construction estimates.
General knowledge and understanding of related codes. e.g.; ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, AASHTO and Unified Facility Criteria.
Excellent computer utilization skills (STAAD-Pro, RISA-3D, AutoCAD, REVIT, Pro-E, Autodesk, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience in the execution of engineering projects from start to finish
Proven experience creating work products for design, inspection and testing activities.
Experience integrating systems or equipment into existing process or space.
Must have demonstrated ability to coordinate/resolve technical issues across multiple teams/customers.
