Job Description
JPMorgan Asset Management Technology is seeking a well-rounded, hands-on Senior Java Software Engineer to support a Portfolio Construction system. You will be part of the front-office technology team working with Portfolio Managers and Research Analysts. Good business knowledge and communication skills are needed to work with the stakeholders to develop functional specification. You will be part of the high-caliber development team that works closely with the Front Office users on end-to-end solutions. Must have a passion for technology and a desire to understand the latest evolutions in software and engineering practices.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
* MS in Computer Science preferred or equivalent experience
* Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
* Must have creative logical problem solving skills
* Strong backend Java development experience with Spring Boot and SQL
* Experience with AWS, Microservices, ReactJS, HTML a plus
* Good understanding in data persistence (SQL or noSQL) data paradigms
* Experience using optimizers such as Barra/ITG/Gurobi/CPLEX optimizers a plus
* Experience in front-office capital markets/investment management applications a plus
