Job Responsibilities:
* Leads, develops, and executes an account growth strategy in coordination with Business Unit leadership
* Leads the identification of new business opportunities that support the account plan, Business Area growth goals, and submit targets throughout the opportunity life cycle
* Develops, maintains, and updates the pipeline of new opportunities for assigned Group or market segment
* Executes call plans to collect information about particular opportunities; in collaboration with technical staff, proposes and tests potential solutions; and qualifies opportunities
* Prepares for and presents opportunities for bid decisions and pipeline reviews
* Leads the early development of win strategies during Identification phase, prior to assignment of a Capture Manager
* Meets with customers to understand the customer territory-relative to portfolio of deals
* Throughout opportunity life cycle, provides insight from the customer point of view

The successful candidate will have:
* Experience leading pursuit teams in a matrixed environment
* History of successfully engaging customers with intelligent, innovative, value-based consulting solutions
* Proven track record of business development for big-ticket services
* Existing relationships and the ability to create new relationships with customers and partner ecosystem
* Demonstrated ability to build client loyalty and establish strong pattern of repeat sales by personally nurturing client relationships

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years of relevant experience; OR combination of education, professional training and related work experience.
* Business development experience within DOD
* Able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
* Able to travel up to 25%

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* NAVWAR experience highly preferred
* Active Secret clearance or higher

The likely salary range for this position is $160,000 - $240,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
