As a member of the Consumer Line Talent Management (CLTM) team within the newly formed Consumer Talent organization, the Business Analyst role provides an exciting opportunity to contribute your experience and passion for data and analytics in a complex and global business. This individual will work with a team of Analytics professionals to support the development of CLTMs talent analytics program that will be used to influence talent management initiatives, plans, and programs in support of the WW Consumer business.

This role will report to the Manager, Talent Analytics based out of Seattle and will be part of broader team of data and analytics professionals. The role will work at the intersection of people data and business performance to dive deep into data to assess macro talent trends across the WW Consumer organization and provide analytics to the CLTM team. This role will also work closely with the Consumer People Analytics, Science, and Research teams within WW Consumer along with central talent management teams.

The ideal candidate is detail oriented with excellent analytical abilities, knowledge of business intelligence solutions, high on business and analytical acumen, and has demonstrated ability to influence and partner with stakeholders. The candidate is a creative and curious thinker, has a skillset across data science and business intelligence, and has a track record of using data to tell a compelling story and connect dots to diagnose both short and long-term challenges in order to drive proactive business solutions.
CORE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with and support key stakeholders on analysis of complex datasets to make decisions, as well as use data to drive talent insights to influence Talent Management plans and solutions.
Create vehicles to present talent findings and insights in a consultative way to talent management partners and relevant internal teams.
Build data visualization reports and tools for self-service consumption using visualization tools like Quicksight and Tableau.
Extract, analyze, and model relevant people data and transform the information into customer-facing consumable reports.
Use analytical and statistical rigor to solve complex problems and drive business and product decisions that directly impact the WW Consumer business.
Collaborate and partner with research science and people analytics teams to improve data assets, quality, metrics, and insights.
Partner with and support Consumer Line Talent Management leaders and teams to translate their reporting needs into requirements to identify appropriate metrics to measure effectiveness of talent management initiatives.
Track and plan analytics projects working closely with multiple stakeholders in different geographies, supporting different business units, and different roles.
Be a champion of data driven insights and analytics and teach partners and colleagues.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related disciple.
2+ years of relevant experience as an analyst or engineer in the data/statistical/BI space.
2+ years of experience with SQL, statistical analysis tools, Tableau, and Quicksight.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Advanced quantitative or technical degree.
Advanced proficiency in SQL, ETL, data modeling, and working with Big Data.
Working knowledge of data management, modeling, reporting, and management information techniques.
Experience with Excel and VBA.
Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
Experience extracting data using SQL and database architectures.
Understanding of data warehousing and data modeling.
Fluency in a modeling language such as Python or R.
Experience with one or more of the statistical modeling languages/toolboxes.
Experience using test/control methodology.
Proven analytical and quantitative skills and an ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and complete root cause analyses.
Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills to convey key insights from complex analyses in summarized business terms.
Ability to work efficiently and accurately in time sensitive matters and organized to manage and track multiple priorities simultaneously grace under pressure and the ability to switch gears at a moments notice.
