Do you want to shape a strategic investment area for Amazon? Are you passionate about delivering value to customers through innovative and efficient supply chains? The Senior Manager for Private Brands Global Programs will develop and own strategic programs designed to make AmazonBasics selection available worldwide by lowering the cost and improving the speed and flexibility of our global supply chain. We are looking for a leader with excellent judgment, strong operating skills, and a passion for invention and new technology to take these programs to the next level.
Key responsibilities include:
Owning all aspects of global supply chain programs, including defining program strategy, driving growth, and improving profitability and operational performance.
Building new strategic supply chain capabilities to enable business growth; identifying opportunities, defining requirements, and working closely with technology teams to develop and implement solutions.
Leading cross functional collaboration on systems and processes necessary to support program needs.
Developing KPIs and metrics to manage program performance and report to senior leadership.
Collaborating with suppliers, 3P Logistic Service Providers, and Amazon retail and operations teams around the world to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and resolve supply chain issues.
Hiring, Developing, and leading a team of supply chain product and program managers.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree
10+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, retail, or related field.
Experience managing direct reports
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
MBA or advanced degree in engineering or other quantitative field.
Highly innovative, flexible and self-directed. Track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Process oriented, with high attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
Experience developing new technology to solve business problems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
